It would be useful to have on the Toolbar -> File -> Open Recent -> Clear List

Is there a reason for that? The list has the most recent ones at the top and the least recent fall off the end naturally.

Yes - sometimes on my MBP the order becomes muddled and the most recent does not appear at the top, also if I haven't used RATS for a while it would good to have a 'clean' list viewable.
