RATS Users/Programs/Examples

• Boston College Department of Economics Statistical Software Component Archive
  In addition to those available on our own Procedures/Examples page, you can find a few procedure for RATS, as well as programs for other stat packages, on the Boston College Department of Economics Statistical Software Component Archive. Users are also invited to submit their own code for RATS, GAUSS, MATLAB, STATA, etc. Visit the site or contact Kit Baum at BC for info on submitting your programs.

  From here, you can download the DisCO program, for simulating asymptotic distributions for tests of cointegration rank (as referenced in the CATS User's Manual). You can access a page describing his book Likelihood-Based Inference in Cointegrated Vector Autoregressive Models. This page includes links to sample programs and data sets for use with CATS.

• sci.econ
  General discussions regarding the science of economics.

• sci.econ.research
  Moderated newsgroup focuses on economics research. Econometrics and econometrics software issues are generally best addressed here, rather than sci.econ.
